1. Preparing the wall and installing the chimney
First of all, I cleaned the wall with sandpaper, removed the dust and primed it. The chimney is an important part of the system, so its installation must comply with the instructions. For example, the pipe on the street should stick out exactly 15 cm, and the slope of the chimney should be 5 degrees down from the boiler. To do everything correctly, it is better to clarify the details with specialists or carefully study the instructions.
2. Boiler suspension
I hung the boiler on four brackets so that it would hold securely. I checked the alignment - everything was perfect according to the level. I installed the chimney, having previously assembled it on the ground: I connected all the elements, inserted the cuffs and rubber bands, and then secured it in place.
3. Boiler piping
The next day I started piping. For the supply and return, I used union nut and polypropylene pipes. I installed additional elements: an 8-liter expansion tank, water filters, a pressure gauge and taps for easy maintenance. To make everything easy to disassemble and service, I secured each part taking into account repairability.
4. Finishing touches
When all the pipes were soldered and secured, I checked them for leaks. All that was left was to connect the electrics, grounding and pressure test the system. I will show this in the next video.
